Hello,
I recently went skydiving for the first time and absolutely fell in love with it! I want to do the AFF course but I'm not sure how much it should cost. I've looked up a number of places and prices but I was wondering, from those of you experienced jumpers what a reasonable price would be to do the course?

Re: Cost of AFF?
Thu, October 28, 2004 - 1:35 PMWelcome to the world of freefall!
Figure on it costing between $1100.- and $1500.- The two big variables that will influence the costs are fuel prices and your progression. If you don't pass an AFF level, you have to repeat it. It's all great fun, though. My favorite level was what used to be called #9, the hop-and-pop! -

Thu, November 11, 2004 - 9:44 AMThanks for the info. I've checked it out and decided on where I'm going to do it. I'm taking the course in March (can't do it now because of the weather) and I can't wait! -

Re: Cost of AFF?
Mon, November 15, 2004 - 7:26 AMBy the way, once you get your license, a nice way to remain current during the winter months might be with the Canadian skills camp (www.members.shaw.ca/alef/), who organize a trip to Skydive Arizona (www.skydiveaz.com) every March. I was jumping and hanging with these folks when I was down in Arizona this last spring, and they're a great bunch of people.
